Look at the two pictures below. The one on the left is what your QC team sees: "visibly clean" part ready for your team or a customer. The one on the right shows the truth: The CodeBe wipe turned blue.

There is freely available Beryllium present. It isn't clean at all. In the week you spend waiting for a lab to confirm this, that contaminated product has already reached your customer, and your team may have already been exposed.

The logic is simple: If the wipe is blue, contamination is present.

"Visibly clean" was a good start, but now that technology exists for instant understanding, we need to raise the bar. New EU surface screening regulations come into effect on July 2026. Organizations need to be ready for this shift that means air monitoring alone is no longer enough.
